Melissa Crawford joined AQ&A in 2022 as an articled student and as an associate in 2023. Melissa comes from a union family, and she is deeply committed to the labour movement and its values of solidarity and collective action.

Melissa received her Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa and her J.D. from the University of Victoria. Prior to law school, she worked in disability services and accessible education. While in law school, Melissa completed a co-op term at a large public sector union and a clinical term providing free legal services to low-income clients.

Melissa’s practice focuses on labour law and civil litigation. She has represented clients in labour arbitrations, at the BC Labour Relations Board, and before the Supreme Court of BC.

Outside the office, you can find Melissa at the ice rink, reading, or enjoying the outdoors with her dog.
